Activities and their illustrated placements within the timeline and/or approximate durations
- Advertising the competition: first quarter of year 1.
- Prequalification and selection of bidders: second through fifth month of year 1.
- Tender period: fifth through eleventh month year 1.
- Assess tenders and short-listed bidders: last ten weeks of year 1.
- Negotiate with short-listed bidders: entire first quarter of year 2.
- Short-listed bidders submit Best And Final Offers (BAFO): fourth and fifth months of year 2.
- Identify preferred bidder: eighth and ninth month of year 2.
- Finalize negotiation and award contract: fourth quarter of year 2 through second month of year 3.
- Start of works: second quarter of year 3.
