Concrete Overlay Open House

The Missouri/Kansas Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association will conduct a "Concrete Overlay Open House" on August 13, 2008. The open house will showcase a new European Separation Technology using a geotextile that was discovered on the 2006 international scan on "Long-Life Concrete Pavements in Canada and Europe." Instead of putting a layer of asphalt between old and new layers of concrete as a bond breaker to prevent cracks from reflecting above through the new concrete, the new technology is less expensive, faster to place and works.
