Western Hemisphere
Activities in the Western Hemisphere seek to strengthen partnerships with counterparts throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada, and Mexico by promoting mutually beneficial government-to-government partnerships with the United States. The goal is to increase opportunities in the Western Hemisphere for exchanging transportation technology, information, and best practices. Information on FHWA’s work with Canada and Mexico to improve mobility and security at overland border crossings is available through the FHWA Office of Planning, Environment and Realty.
