Summary of FHWA-India Cooperation

A Memorandum of Cooperation in Transportation Science and Technology was signed in 2005 between the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Department of Road Transport and Highways (The Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways) of India. The Memorandum builds on the Memorandum of Intent to Cooperate on Surface Transportation Science and Technology between the Government of India and U.S. DOT signed in 1997.
